CHORALE April 16 UPDATE

POP CONCERT!

  • $5 for Pop Concert T-Shirts due Thursday, April 30th.

  • Tech Rehearsal Monday, May 4th

    • Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride Rehearsal: 2:52pm - 3:04pm

    • From The Start Rehearsal (chorale select only!): 3:52pm - 4:04pm

    • Rumour Has It/Someone Like You Rehearsal: 4:57pm - 5:09pm

    • There will are large gaps in between some students’ obligations. During these breaks, they may stay at school, wait in the PAC, head home for a moment, etc. as long as they are ready to take the stage for their next song.

    • Students with athletic or job conflicts are encouraged to work out a compromise to share as much time as possible.

  • Pops Concert performances Tuesday, May 5th AND Wednesday, May 6th

    • TIME: 6:45 Call Time (unless additional time is needed for certain songs. TBA)

    • ATTIRE: Pop Concert T-shirt, Jeans/black pants/jean shorts/black shorts, dance-ready shoes

    • AUDIENCE: $5 tickets at the door for 7:30pm show! (Cash or Venmo preferred)

  • CHORALE SELECT

    • Some students have chosen to learn another song to perform at the Pop Concerts! If you are in Chorale Select, rehearsals are Mondays AND Thursdays 2:30-3:30 and 5:30-6:30. Students do NOT have to be at all four rehearsals each week, but should aim to be at at least two per week. Enter through the PAC doors for these rehearsals.

STATE FESTIVAL

  • State Choral Festival May 6th

    • Tuxedos and Dresses!

    • Students will miss a portion of the school day for our trip to Trinity Lutheran Church.

      • Depart at 8:45am in uniform

      • Return at 10:30am

UNIFORM RETURN

  • Wednesday, May 6: After we return from State Festival, you may turn in your rental dress or tuxedo.

    • Bring a change of clothes to keep in your locker for when we return.

    • $30 deposit will be returned IF you paid for the rental in the fall.
